Descripción del puesto

Responsibilities:
• Overview. Contribute actively to the execution and origination of M&A advisory activities across the Southern Cone
• Execution. Day-to-day execution of all aspects of M&A sell-side and buy-side transactions (including assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, financial analyses, financial modelling and valuation, information package, coordination with transaction stakeholders and third-party advisors, etc.)
• Origination. Participate in the preparation of pitches and marketing materials in compliance with BNP Paribas’ internal rules and templates. Perform industry and company specific research, and strategic analyses using BNP Paribas analysis matrix
• Internal processes: Assist in implementation of BNP Paribas’ internal project administration processes

Minimum Qualifications:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• 1+ years of relevant experience in M&A, preferably in a bulge bracket, large boutique investment bank, or Big 4 firm
• Proficiency in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications:
• M&A transaction understanding, ideally with direct experience assisting in the execution of M&A transactions
• Superior people skills to ensure constructive dialogue and positive cooperation both internally and externally
• Team player, self-motivated and entrepreneurial
• Strong data management and research skills
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Knowledge of corporate finance theory (WACC, DCF, and other valuation methodologies)
• Technical proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong sense of responsibility being able to deliver on time
• High level of intellect, professionalism, and integrity
