Workshop 1: The Writing Process

- Establishing a Successful Writing Center: An Overview
Preview the basic components of a writing center (e.g., goals, staffing, training, resources) that should be addressed during the creation of this academic support facility.
- The Writing Process:
Understand the value of the writing process. Learn how to create assignments that encourage students to follow the process, which can improve the quality of their writing and their understanding of course content. These suggestions can help your own writing, too!
